Background
Cultivate IT has been operating since 2009 and is based in West Bridgford. 
Grace and David are the husband-and-wife team that are the driving force of the business. They support schools and small businesses with their IT services locally. They contacted the Growth Hub after a referral from the Chamber’s Up-scaler programme and engaging with the University of Nottingham on a graduate placement.
Grace joined the company around 7 years ago and has been looking at developing the business while, at the same time, investigating ways to minimise the firm’s environmental impact. To that end, and to obtain more business clients, the company published a new updated website.

Our adviser held a number of meetings with Cultivate IT, taking great care to understand their business and market opportunities. In order to aid their website relaunch, she also reviewed their previous website and provided pointers for improvements and suggested changes. Our adviser also recommended that they use feedback from their current customers to refine their offering and inform their business growth strategy, particularly in the private sector.
Our adviser has fundamentally provided an extra pair of eyes and ears as an extension to their small team. She also reviewed various website designs and copy and provided recommendations as part of their enhanced marketing drive.
