Newark Business Club is one of the leading business clubs in the east midlands. They are proactive and influential, working hard with key stakeholders to help create a sustainable business environment. They represent over 1000 members, have an action group, provide strong community engagement and hold monthly meetings.

Networks

B-Global – The BAME Business Network support BAME businesses in the East Midlands area. B-Global are dedicated to helping black and ethnic minority businesses by providing business support in Nottinghamshire and beyond. Their pioneering business network strives to help every African, Caribbean, Asian and minority ethnic heritage business in Nottingham, Derby, and the wider East Midlands area.

BIG* (The Big Small Business Network) are an informal business networking group. They promote the very best of business practices with integrity as the basis for all their business dealings and refer business to their members through regular meetings and social events. They hold regular breakfast meetings in Edwinstowe.

Collingham Business Community is a business network that hold regular meetings.  These meetings are partly social in nature, providing an opportunity to put faces to names whilst enjoying a relaxing end-of-day drink. These meetings also provide an opportunity to raise any matters that are concerning you or your business, in the knowledge that this will then be carried forward to the right quarters.  Conversely, the meetings provide a conduit for keeping business owners up to date with local support and other business opportunities.

Mee and You Networking (Newark) – Formerly Mums in Business Network is a child-friendly networking opportunity for businessmen and women with children based in Newark.

Nottinghamshire Manufacturing Network is a trusted peer-to-peer membership organisation consisting of a diverse range of manufacturing businesses. Since their establishment in 2014, NMN has expanded sustainably and now represents nearly 2,000 employees.

Tech Nottingham is a networking group for people interested in ideas and technology. It is an organisation with the mission to make Nottingham a better place to live and work in technology. Based in the Nottingham city centre they run monthly meetings, run events and work with local organisations to advocate for Nottingham as a place to do business in tech.

University of Nottingham Business Network help businesses to improve performance through events, networking and collaboration with their researchers.

Memberships

Confederation of British Industry (CBI) East Midlands have 12 Regional, National Councils and 16 policy Standing Committees meet every quarter. Engaging over 1000 senior business leaders from over 700 CBI member companies. Through this process their members have a direct say in what they do and how we do it, inputting ideas and evidence to direct our work.

East Midlands Chamber connects, supports and champions businesses and communities across Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. Members benefit from a wide range of business support services from lobbying and campaigning, helping businesses realise their international trading ambitions, showcasing and market-making activities to workforce training and development.

Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) help their members succeed in business, they are a non-profit making and non-party political organisation that’s led by their members, for their members. They offer members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice heard in government.
