Clubs and groups

Bingham Business Club is a network and a club for the businesses in and around the Bingham area. They offer members the chance to constructively work together to generate revenue and help address the issues that face local businesses.

East Leake Traders is an alliance of more than 60 retailers and other local businesses. They work to promote a vibrant local economy by marketing what they have to offer to people in East Leake and beyond.

Keyworth Business Group work with Local businesses in Keyworth and surrounding villages. The group is currently on hold until further updates.

Networks

B-Global – The BAME Business Network support BAME businesses in the East Midlands area. B-Global are dedicated to helping black and ethnic minority businesses by providing business support in Nottinghamshire and beyond. Their pioneering business network strives to help every African, Caribbean, Asian and minority ethnic heritage business in Nottingham, Derby, and the wider East Midlands area.

East Leake Growth Board has been running since 2018. They work to support and enhance the town centre including highways, sewerage/ drainage and more.

Nottinghamshire Manufacturing Network is a trusted peer-to-peer membership organisation consisting of a diverse range of manufacturing businesses. Since their establishment in 2014, NMN has expanded sustainably and now represents nearly 2,000 employees.

Tech Nottingham is a networking group for people interested in ideas and technology. It is an organisation with the mission to make Nottingham a better place to live and work in technology. Based in the Nottingham city centre they run monthly meetings, run events and work with local organisations to advocate for Nottingham as a place to do business in tech.

University of Nottingham Business Network help businesses to improve performance through events, networking and collaboration with their researchers.

Memberships

Confederation of British Industry (CBI) East Midlands have 12 Regional, National Councils and 16 policy Standing Committees meet every quarter. Engaging over 1000 senior business leaders from over 700 CBI member companies. Through this process their members have a direct say in what they do and how we do it, inputting ideas and evidence to direct our work.

East Midlands Chamber connects, supports and champions businesses and communities across Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. Members benefit from a wide range of business support services from lobbying and campaigning, helping businesses realise their international trading ambitions, showcasing and market-making activities to workforce training and development.

Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) help their members succeed in business, they are a non-profit making and non-party political organisation that’s led by their members, for their members. They offer members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice heard in government.
